I was mashing the update button on my 2XL on Pie. Just read that you need to opt out of the beta manually to get updates...I went to the beta enrolment site, oped out, and hit update and its downloading and installing now for me.

That's odd because the beta was over. Usually you are taken out at some point.

The same thing worked for me ! I thought that beta have closed automatically after the realise of Android P. So what are the benefits of staying in beta after the final realise? Are there going to be beta updates for the ones in?

Could just be a bug. I understood that we are taken out automatically, but some people said that this always happens. Worked for me, and if you are missing the update give this trick a shot.

I opted out, will see if I get the update lol.. That would be weird.

Wow, been hitting that update button all day and nothing. Tried that opt out of beta thing and it actually worked.

I opted out after reading the above posts, thought I was already auto-ed out but guess not. In any case it started installing immediately. (49.8MB)

Mine was 61.2 on Verizon Pixel 2XL

Same here. Hopefully fixes a few bugs like the notification and fingerprint issues!

Wondering the same but can't help but think it is T-Mobile because in order to get Pie I did a factory reset on Oreo, removed my SIM and upon signing in it downloaded the Pie update.

I won't say a word about it how it's because you're on T-Mobile. Do they have their cell towers yet?
