It's probably the phone showing 5G when you in fact are only getting 4G/lte, mine does it too, not often do I get the proper 5G NR (New Radio) however, when I did the last time I got 701mbps

5G is just 5th generation and nothing else what speeds you get depend on your carrier. As long as I get higher speeds than normal then so be it go 5G!!!!

It won't show 5G unless you're actually connected to a 5G network.

Houston here. Upload speeds cool be better, but seeing faster speeds then 4g and with mid band access here it should only be getting faster.

I would take those speeds any day like you said faster than 4G. Problem with Verizon is there are very few 5G areas where there is it's super fast.

5G is so new, do people actually believe it's going to be fast consistently this early in the game? Most places still don't even have 5G. Personally, that's not the reason I bought my Note 20u. It just happens to come with it.

Did you buy it just for 5G? That tech is still in it's infancy. I bought it because I wanted a Note 20 Ultra lol. Most places don't even have 5G available.

Tmobile has a lot of 5G out there and the speeds for me are faster then 4G for me. Now of your on verizon or AT&T it's a different story their 5G is very sparce and only in main cities. I live in a rural area and I am getting awesome speeds so 5G for me was a great reason to purchase the note 20.

Yes. But you didn't buy it just because of that did you? There are other devices much less expensive that can run 5g. That's what I'm saying. I bought it because it's loaded to the gil with features.
