Seriously torn between HTC One and Galaxy S4

People who had/have iPhones are very aware that an sd card and removable battery are not necessary. You can get an iPhone in 16, 32, or 64 GB and non-removable batteries have more than proven themselves. Plus Apple has the best customer service, by far, in the business and will replace a phone easily and quickly. There are of course multiple launchers and messaging apps on iPhones. Not sure what you are saying there. The iPhone keyboard is quite good but I wouldn't mind having some options at all, like swiftkey.

I personally went for
Does the battery/micro SD feel like a big draw to you (coming from an iPhone, this might)
Does the feel or the durability matter more to you?
Do you need a good camera to take photos in the day or night?
Zoes or the S4 equivalent something that would appeal to you?
Do the speakers matter (or do you use headphones anyway)?
Do the default apps matter to you (this matters if you don't care to spend on keyboards, launchers, messaging apps - something that iPhone users can't easily replace at any rate. This might irk you)

I loved the HTC One. If it was offered in a black 64gb developer edition, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. My only and main gripe was the lack of using quickcharge to charge it. As it stands now, it just charges too slow. Sigh...

Tongue in check doesn't translate well over an Internet forum. Sometimes hard to tell the difference without being in front of someone in person.

Noted. My point is that we all know that the poster didn't literally mean "tomorrow" as in the day that comes after today. The "tomorrow" was implied as "very soon."

I agree with everything except for launchers... I didn't realise you could download launchers for iOS...

I had a look at Galaxy S4 yesterday in a store. It looks great. Definitely much nicer than the S3. But then I took my One out to compare the two side by side and there was hardly any contest. The One superior in terms of quality, has a way brighter screen (yes, I did turn the s4 screen all the way up) and feels smoother in terms of performance. I didn't test the camera, but I am more than happy with the One's camera (probably not so hard after Nexus 4 :) ) and even if Galaxy S4 does have a slightly better camera, it would never be enough to put it ahead.

Happy I made the right choice!

The only device that could sway me away from my HTC One is the Note 2. When it comes to the One VS S4, the One wins hands down.

one of the cool thing about oppo find 5 is that they have biweekly updates and based on user request in their forums . how cool is that

You can't. iPhones can only have themes if they are jailbroken. Other than that you can't go download something like Nova Launcher for iPhone.
