Seriously, when is the Nexus 5 coming?

You know guys.... if the nexus 5 isn't unveiled on the 31st then we know there is a problem. Think about it, they are out of stock of the nexus 4 and they have been for quite some time now. And google does not have anything to sell as a phone at the moment. This means if someone really needs a phone and can't wait another couple of weeks they will have to go look elsewhere. They are not making money (some would say losing money). I'm saying if they don't end up announcing it by the last day of this month then maybe they are still experiencing issues with the phone or something else because this is very unusual we still haven't heard anything not even invites have been sent.

I agree. I don't think Google would intentionally allow there to be no nexus phone available for longer than a month. Reputable people like Artem Russakovskii from android police have heard Oct 31st as a release date for a while so Oct 31st seems reasonable. But the leak of the Nexus 5 on the play store suggests that this device was ready to go. I know Google isn't making money off Nexus phones but they clearly want someone to buy them otherwise why go through the trouble of making them and having them on the play store to begin with?

Of course if there really is an issue and Google is working on fixing it before release then that is probably better than releasing a buggy phone or buggy software.

You're worrying too much. Just because your guess is wrong doesn't mean there is a problem. It means you guessed wrong.

Its almost idiotic to not buy the nexus 5 for $350 even if you don't like android phones. I'll be getting it just for the **** of it just cause of how cheap it is

With the downfall of blackberry, android is the only acceptable option for a phone (at least for me). The Nexus 5 is the obvious device to choose, even if we have to wait a while.

Is there a successful search term that will bring up devices on the first page in the play store app? Thank you.
