Set as Wallpaper: Crap Quality in 4.3

I tried setting a new wallpaper in 4.3 and I noticed the crop method looked different. I was also surprised that it came out extra "jaggey". I had tried this on 4.2.2 to be sure and it came out fine. Anyone else notice this? Anyone have a fix?

You are right. The new crop method is good, but the result looks like a jpeg with a very high compression ratio.

I'm finding the same. Quality looks utter crud after setting a wallpaper.

It's official. I have been messing around with this loads today and basically there is no way you can set your wallpaper without it pixelating to hell, unless you use a stock image. You can use the free app 'Image 2 Wallpaper' which let's you set wallpapers as tiles, but other than that, you can kiss a nice looking homescreen goodbye. Very rookie to have made such a visually detrimental change in 4.3.
