Set phone up as new "ALWAYS"

I just want to express to everyone who gets this phone to set up as new when you initialize the phone through the setup process. I talked to a few friends that got this phone and one did a backup off their s8 and another off their moto z and both of them had tons of issues like freezing, crashes and stuttering. Then they did a factory reset and set as new and claimed it completely changed their experience. I have zero issues but I always set my phones up as new so this thing has been a beast from day one. I don't know why it's so dramatic on this phone because usually copying over apps isn't an issue (and who wants to go back through their library and redownload one by one) but I saw it with my own eyes.

So the best advice I could give is make sure you setup as new, or if you're having any problems reset and start over. You'll be glad you did it really is a fantastic phone!

You have the option to select what to restore. If you do a full restore yes you "may" have problems. You never do a full restore especially with phone specific apps. Only full restore with brand to brand.

That being said, I did a backup restore, unchecked all Samsung related services and had 0 issues.

I always restore my phones from any backups never had an issue, whether it be from Samsung to HTC to LG to honor to axon. in this case I will set this phone up as new, thank you for the information.
