so i have finally rooted my phone as it seems like everybody else and there mother has too with SMU. I have been using the setcpu app to overclock but i dont know what to set the settings to in order to get the best performance while not killing my battery and over heating the phone. I have also seen people say they are going at 900 and 950 mhz but when i have tried to manually set it, it only goes to 800 and the next one up is 1000. If anybody could let me know what the best setting are and how i would go about setting it correctly i would really appreciate it. Even at 800 i see a difference but there are times where it boggs down a bit. I just want the kind of experience with my Droid being overclocked like the people i hear saying that it is amazing and that are not experiencing any types of hiccups and not killing the battery faster than normal. thanks

oh and P.S. i dont know if i posted this in the right forum because A) it is an app but B) you can only access this while rooted. If this is in the wrong forum i do apologize.

wow i hate that when i look at that i become so lost haha. i have never done anything that involved coding or SU with my droid and its like "uhmmmmmm, what do i do?". the only reason i did the SMU was because it basically ran itself.

is that the only way to get the different settings?

Try opening setcpu again, hitting menu, device selection, and then choose auto detect again. Maybe it just didn't like it the first time you did it. I had to due it twice to get all my options.

No you dont have to unroot, you have to flash the rom.

-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
