SetCPU

I installed SetCPU today, and have been running a temp of between 90 degrees and 98 degrees. It is set to 800 mhz, and 250 minimum. Running Ultimate Droid 9.0. Is this normal?

Yeah, that's about average. Ultimate Droid also runs hotter than the other roms, for some odd reason (I experienced that during my use of Ultimate Droid, Cyanogenmod, Smoked Glass, etc).

Just keep an eye on it. If it gets above 38 C (100F) to 42 C (107.6F) constantly, you are going to want to uninstall setCPU. Some phones just don't work well with setCPU.

I think its more on the kernel try a low voltage kernel mabey that will help temps

Yeah, most likely. On the ultimate droid download thread (droidforums.net), you can get a number of different kernels.

Try a 7 slot low voltage. IF that doesn't work, try AdamZ's ESE53 provided kernels.
