Setting a downloaded ringtone as a text tone?

Hey,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running Android 4.4.2: I downloaded a ringtone and was able to set it as the ringtone for calls, but when I try to set it as a ringtone for texts, it doesn't show up in the list. How can I fix this?

You need to go to your ringtone folder and copy the ringtone. Then place it in your notifications folder.
Ringtones and Notifications are stored separately.

This help me out alot and I got it to work on my S3.
