setting music as my alarm wakeup

So I have tried both alarm droid and alarm clock xtreme. What happens when I go into individual alarms and choose alarm type I change from ringtone to music, Then click the option to choose the song. I choose the song, click save and it still shows ringtone as alarm sound.

Dont know what is going on here. Any suggestions? anyone else having this issue?

well I guess I figured it out. Seems I can only make one change at a time and then save it in alarm options. Kinda weird. Didnt have this issue with my DX

You don't need to go through the pain of using another app to accomplish this. Just connect your phone to your comp, drag over whatever mp3(s) you wanna use for your alarm, and dump them in the Alarms folder. Then disconnect and reboot, and whatever you put in there will show as an option when you're in the stock alarm app.
