Setting Notification Tones

Many apps allow you to change notification tones within the individual app settings, but some do not. I could have sworn there was a way on my Note 4 to set unique notification tones for individual apps through device device settings but I cannot find it on the Note 8. Is it possible?

I looked on my Note 4 and I don't see a way to set individual app tones. I don't remember ever seeing a way to do that.

Yeah, I totally forgot that I used an app for that on my 4...Megasound. It worked great but looks like it hasn't been updated for nearly a year and has taken a beating in ratings lately for lack of compatibility with newer phones/OSs.

Can anyone recommend a different app?
