Setting up an appointment from a contact

I have done many searches trying to find an app that will allows a calendar appointment to be created for a contact from the record of the same contact. For example, while on John Doe's contact information I want to create an appointment for John Doe. Are there any apps that will do that?

Gemini is free and allows you to select the numbers as links from within the app, I'm not sure about Contact Event. I think that may depend on what OS and device you have if it will work, and it looks like the reviews say FC are common and it doesn't work under 2.2.
