Similar subject has been discussed here before, but not exactly what I was looking for. Therefore, I'm posting a new thread.
As I'm coming from BB to SF, all the features offered by SF, are amazing except for the e-mails. I have about 4 different hotmail accounts that I use and I never had any issues of receiving them instantly on my BB.
I set up all 4 hotmail account on SF, but I don't get e-mails instantly.
I changed the frequency setting to 5 minutes, but it actually never checks.
After spending some time, trying to figure this out, I found this link.
I was able to go to 'E-mail' -> menu -> add account -> entered e-mail address and password -> manual setup -> and there were three options to choose from. 'pop', 'imap', and 'exchange server'.
I was able to setup 1 of 4 hotmail account by using the 'exchange server' and I get all e-mails from that hotmail account instantly.
But, after adding this one hotmail account, this 'exchange server' button is gone.
My question is.. am I able to setup only one account under exchange server?
Is it possible to setup multiple hotmail accounts as exchange server?
