Setting up with my car

I just got a 2009 Hyundai Sonata and I'm trying to figure out how to connect it with my phone, so I can do things like change songs using the car's controls, and having the songs' names display on the radio.

I did some googling and I think I'm supposed to turn on a setting called USB Mass Storage. Except the problem is I have no idea where it's at. And, I'm not 100% sure if that's the correct thing to do.

Anyone willing to lend some insight? I also have the latest stable version of Cyanogenmod 10.1.

To set up USB Mass Storage, try this (for stock Android): Go to Settings, Storage, menu, USB computer connection, then choose Media device (MTP).
