I have a Samsung galaxy SII. It upgraded to android version 4.1.2 last week. Since then, anytime I try to turn on my mobile hotspot I get the message, Unfortunately, Settings has stopped. Any suggestions?

I would suggest to reboot into recovery, and wipe the phone's cache.

Was this a official AT&T upgrade to Jelly Bean? I have the AT&T galaxy s2 and I never received any notification regarding any jellybean updates.
