Settings > Sounds > Audio Effects

Exactly as the title suggests.
I hook up my wired headphones, play some music on pvstar (basically YouTube but can turn screen off and surf phone), head over to Settings > Sounds > Audio Effects, the audio effects settings make no changes when switching between them.

Anyone else notice this? Is this app specific? Is this stock 4.4.4 or moto specific?

Also tried via Speaker option with speaker on (no headphones) and still, the different settings/presets of jazz/bass punch/vocal/etc don't seem to make any changes.

Did you slide the "on" switch to ON at the top? (sorry - sounds obvious, but the slider is hard to see up there)
My problem with that feature is that I cant customize the different individual levels - must choose one of the 5 presets.

yeah the switch was on

I noticed the different frequencies couldn't be changed too.

Also tried d/l an app I used on my thunderbolt called Bass Booster (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...com.desaxedstudios.bassbooster&token=ZzIMu5hc), but after installing it it said it can't work with this version of android :-/

So were you able to hear differences when toggling between the different presets?

I noticed that yesterday as I paired to my Shoqbox. No changes that I could tell and, like you, can't change the equalizer bars.

Yes - I can hear the differences.... I leave mine on "extreme bass" because it sounds best - I'd like to be able to add a little more mid and more high range, but it's ok... I'm holding off on making too many application adds until the new upgrade in a (couple?) weeks.
