setup for clock widgets ??

I have downloaded 2 different "clock widgets" Because those standard Stupid Samsung digital clocks are bllldy Tiny to read.

Both widgets have been installed - But Not showing Up. I tried the 1st one because that would not show up - then tried 2nd one -same.

I use my Power Button to view the time ( Unlock screen) - But still that stupid Samsung tiny (dxk) shows up Only. What am I doing wrong ??? is there a youtube tutorial that Applies the appropriate setting ???

What phone do you have?

Where are you downloading these clocks from? Please name the apps you've tried.

What is your process for adding the widgets? Please give a short step by step of how you are attempting to add this.

Have you checked your last screen?

For me on my Samsung S24U, I am not able to add widgets in confined spaces, so even if I have a 2x2 widget with a 2x2 opening on my home screen, I cannot drop the widget in it. The phone will find a bigger opening or add a page if no larger space is available to my left right scroll and drop it there. Depending on what device you have you may be experiencing this or something like it.

Are you getting these apps from the Play Store, Amazon App Store, or Galaxy Store, if you're using a Sammy? Without knowing what apps you tried exactly we can't test or look into the app for detail. We'll need more information from you to go farther here.

It sounds like you've successfully added widgets in the past and it also sounds like you're confident in your steps which is why it's odd that these widgets wouldn't show up correctly. If we had the names of the apps we could experiment with this as well.

Let us know what you find along with answers to our questions and we can offer more advice.

the Only steps I done to install them - is just the Basic install.
I realise now that what Im after may have nothing to do with Widgets. I just want a Bigger digital clock, when I press Power button. The settings for basic clock style are still tooo small !!

You can download Good lock from the galaxy store and they have modules for the clock to customize

Way back forever ago I had this same issue and B. Diddy recommended DIGI Clock Widget. I'm not sure if it is compatible with the A11. Look for it from your phone and if it's compatible it will display in the results.

First they shrunk the clock widget with Android 10. I mean you can make it take up as much room on your home screen as you want but the clock itself will still be this little barely readable thing. Ok, I need a dual clock anyway and the dual clock displays a little bigger, oh and no I'm not visually impaired, but it doesn't access your alarms. That's fine there's an Alarm widget... except you can't add the alarm widget to the screen. It opens the alarms and then immediately disappears.

So I'm either stuck with a tiny clock that allows me to use my alarms or a dual clock and no...

Specific to mustang7757's recommendation, you'll want to look at the "Lockstar" extension for Goodlock. Get Goodlock from the Galaxy Store, Samsung's app store. Since Goodlock is made for Samsung you should not have any issues app compatibility.
