So I've had my Nexus 5X for around a week now upgrading from my Nexus 5 largely because of battery life and so far my battery life has been awful. So far I've not been able to get over 3 hours screen life before the battery dies. The phone is even losing 50% battery overnight in airplane mode.
I've gone through all my apps to make sure nothing is using stupid processing power constantly and nothing is really showing up in either the battery or memory menus. I used the Google setting to transfer settings from to 5 to my 5X when the phone first arrived and haven't installed any new apps so wouldn't have thought it's down to an app because it's not that bad on my Nexus 5.
I've added some screenshots below with comments below each set. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. So far I've disabled 5GHz Wi-Fi, disabled keep Wi-Fi on during sleep, have adaptive brightness on, optimised all apps, turned location mode onto battery saving.

With just over 3 hours of reasonably regular use looking through different settings that could help the battery life and a bit of web browsing the battery drained from 100% to under 50%. The leaving the phone on overnight the battery continued to drain and died 7 hours later.

After charging it back to full I played around 30mins of Lara Croft Go and used kept it on for around 2 hours, taking the battery from 100-35%.

I then charged the phone to full and put it onto airplane mode. Wi-Fi appears to still be on, despite also turning it off in the Wi-Fi settings menu. Not sure what that's about. As you can see with no use and the phone idling, resting on a flat surface the phone’s battery drained by 50% over 9 hours.

Here’s a screenshot of the ram over that 12 hour period with the phone on airplane mode. Nothing seems that unreasonable to me.
As said above any thoughts would be really useful. I think I'll give it a factory reset and hope that fixes it. Will just be a pain having to set it all up again :/
