Severe lag

I just imported some pictures to my GN10.1 and used the S pen to write some descriptions. Now when I bring it up on Gallery to view them, it takes literally 30-45 seconds to load the pictures? Just did a soft reset as well. Not sure whats going on. This is the first thing that has bothered me since owning this thing.

Any suggestions?

This works on my Tab 2. Should be the same procedure.

How many pictures are you referring to when you say "some"?
Are the pictures stored on an external SD Card and if so, what class?
Can you move the pictures you annotated off the tablet to see if they are the cause?
Where did the pictures come from and what is their physical size?
Have you tried force stopping the gallery and then going back in?
Have you tried Quick Pic from the Play Store--it is faster, but that may mask the problem.

very weird its not doing that right now. IT seems to be loading fine.
