I have a frustrating issue I am trying to solve with my SG3 messaging. I read that swype may have been causing my problems so I recently changed my settings from swype back over to my samsung keyboard due to message spliting on the recipients end. But this hasnt seemed to fix my problem yet. My mom was telling she is not getting all of my messages. The messages appear to be fine on my end as I am typing them and sending them. My message is al together as it should be, but just not on the recipients end. Its splitting messages that are less that 15 words long into 2-3 messages, which dont all come in back to back. There seems to be a serious time lap in the messages. Im not sure what is causing the issue but I want to try to fix this because no one can read my messages I am sending. Here is a previous example of a real text so you see my issue.

(1/2) Just got to the gym, there isnt 1 spot open in the parking lot, wow

Can someone give me any idea whats going on , this is so frustrating!
Thanks
Jamie

This could be a lot of things. The only thing I can think of that you could do anything about is the messaging app. First, try going to settings, apps, all and clearing the data/cache for it. See if that works. If not, download a third party SMS app and try that. If those don't work, there could be an issue with your carrier. If the phone is transmitting them correctly, something could happen during transit to your data packets. Lastly, there's always a chance there is a hardware problem with your radio. Try the app stuff first. If that doesn't work call your carrier.
Whatever happens, let us know what happens. I'm subscribing.

Scott,
As I am in my messaging app, the cache is 0.00B. If I press clear data a message pops up " all of this apps data will be deleted permaneetly. This includes all files, settings, accounts, databases etc.." So should I press ok? Or cancel?

Also when you say a hardware problem with Radio, what does that mean exactly?
A few days ago our service provider sent out a new software download for backing up contacts etc.Its called US Cellular Mobile Data Security. As the scan run on my phone the first time it detected an app called radio that seemed threatning, I think i deleted it. Could this be my problem?
My husband is also expirencing this issue, so I know whatever is going on has happened to both our phones in the last few days.

Also I did try Hacent SMS a couple days ago and that didnt seem to help. So It could be the radio thing or my carrier.

It's likely from your update or an issue with your carrier. I wouldn't do anything in this case except to contact them. Explain how disappointed you are and ask them for rectification.

No problem. I wish there was something I could do to directly help you. Hopefully, they are aware of the problem and taking steps.
For you and your husband, use hangouts temporarily to still be able to keep in touch.
