First time posting and I hope I can get some positive feed back to encourage me to be more active in the android world in the future. :)

So I recently gave up my sg3 to my mother to be a good son and volunteered to pay for her monthly cp bill =) I was at a crossroad... Ip5, sg4 or dun dun dun... HTC one. I knew the galaxy is awesome I loved it! But I have to be quiet honest I didn't really use much of the functions it offered and I was really irritated that the camera kept on force closing the rare times I use it (I had two separate sg3, screen broke on the first and i ordered a second one) I'm not sure if it was my luck or it's a known problem, I never took the time to look it up. The sg3 was a phone I loved because it had a nice screen. I enjoyed it but I was never enamored by it, I was prior to getting it, I joined the sg3 website because of it and I never really checked back in after having the phone. So yea long story short, it was a decent phone. I'm not a techie, yet... =)
Moving on to the HTC one. Man I love the build, f*kin solid man! It feels like it's a well built phone, it feels good in my hand, it doesn't feel fragile, I lift weight on a daily basis (don't roll your eyes, I'm not trying to imply anything when I mention this but if you're used to gripping hard on weights it feels good to have a phone that u don't have to be so gentle with) and this phone felt at home in my hands. The phone is just the right size IMHO. The phone is fast! I haven't done any rooting in the past and this phone just motivated me to do just that! So yes this phone just hits the right pressure points for me. I'm looking forward to and I'm very excited to explore this phone's capability. Yea I toyed around with the sg4 but man the feel was just... Flimsy and well ... Plastic. Sure I would love the option of air swiping my phone while I'm chowing down on some ribs but how often does that happen? I can always use my knuckles.
Blinkfeed... Man oh man I love this stuff! Info on everything around the world at the tip of your fingers, it works! I use to be confined in going to the Internet and going on nfl. Com to read stuff but now I know more about politics, major crisis in the world and just the trending stuff... Yea it's forced on you I get it... But for a normal Joe who used to not care for Flickr blinkfeed just made them smarter... Coz curiosity will get the best of them and soon they will find their selves reading more and more news on their idle time, not to mention Fb! Yea it needs work but Damn I love this phone for making me a better person! Thanks HTC one! I hope you guys keep up the good work! Question for the blinkfeed pro, is there a way to open up dictionary or look up a word for definition without losing your place on the blinkfeed page that your reading? Well if you actually read this I really appreciate it!

Glad you like it.

Yeah the One is an excellent phone. I can't overstate enough how nice it is to feel a premium phone that's not an iPhone. So used to plastic fantastic Galaxy phones, but the One is just so far ahead.

The easiest way I've found is to long-press the home button to go into google now, then say "google what is the definition of _______". (The new version of Google Now that they just released will start listening even without touching the microphone button, and it'll start doing what you say if you say the word "google").

If you don't know how to pronounce the word or it's a word you're pretty sure it won't hear correctly then just type "definition of _____________". (or depending on the word you might be able to search on the word alone and the definition will usually be near the top)

Once it has responded you can hit the back button a couple times and you'll be back in Blinkfeed at the exact same location.

It's not that long. Reading is just a lost art. We older folks can read that with no problem. We used to read these things called books, and they tend to be pretty long. :D

I contend that, I'm 20 and have read almost every Stephen King book, some Dean Koontz, and a little non fiction here and there. I used to read every day, but technology has corrupted me sadly :(

It has corrupted me somewhat as well, unfortunately.
