SG8 plus can't download

I have the SG8 plus cell. All of a sudden I can't download anything. Everything was fine until about 5 days ago. I cleared cache. Although I am unable to clear the play store app cache as it is hidden for some reason in my list of system apps. I am at my wits end. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you mean you can't install apps from the Play Store, correct? Try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, then Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.
