I'm new to rooting but I think I got the steps right, please correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Download Odin, TWRP Recovery, and Root file
2. Unzip all files
3. Run Odin as administrator and make sure box is yellow
4. Open root file via Odin
5. Reboot then open recovery via Odin
6. Wipe phone via TWRP

Sounds about right to me. At least that follows the pattern that all previous Sammy's have used.

Odin (flash custom recovery)
Boot into custom recovery
Flash Superuser and enjoy!
