SGS4 Mini - Unable to update sim number

Hi

Does anyone know how to update the stored simcard number so that the right phone number shows up in 'About this device' in KIES and also in the phones info section. All I can see is the factory issued simcard number even though I have changed the card number to my new operator number in the 'Me' entry of contacts.
