"Shadow/Duplicate" effect on home screen's top right-hand corner

Is anyone getting a shadow/duplicate effect on their S7's home screen's top right-hand corner where you see your battery life, time, etc.? It goes away once I open up any app, but VZW's only "advice" was to do a factory data reset and I'm hoping not to. Thoughts?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using a screenshot as your wallpaper? If so, then the shadow/duplicate you see may be part of the image you're using as a wallpaper.

No, it's a picture that was taken with a Note 5 then cropped.
