Shadow on screen when pulling left or right

On some Web pages if I scroll pull to the left and no space left and also to the right there is like a shadow is this normal?

Welcome to Android Central! Where do you see the shadow? Which browser? It's probably just how the browser shows you that there's nothing to either side when you scroll.

Mostly on Firefox
It's also on here if I pull the page down too much. If I pull down its at the top. If I pull from left it's on the left.
Also sometimes it's blue purple depending what I'm viewing but mostly clear does that sound like nothing?

I have dropped it once but wouldn't be that would it. I gave a case on

It's normal. It's just indicating you have reached the end.

I'm using the phone more and instead of my PC simply because it's faster and easier. There is no downside to this is there? I'm on it hours at at time

Is this bad for the phone or is it built to be used like a pc

That shouldn't be a problem, as long as the phone isn't overheating.
