"Share via" is a mess

Hi all. A quick question and hope for a solution.

Whenever I go to share something (via email, SMS, Facebook...), bringing up the "Share via" options, it appears as though the S7E just grabbed a handful of data and chucked it at my screen. That is, it displays what seem to be a random sample of my Twitter contacts, Contacts I don't share things with regularly, the wrong mode (i.e a frequently texted Contact's email instead of SMS), etc.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the options presented, or logic to their order.

Has anyone noticed similar issues? Anyone know how to clean this mess up?

Direct Messages via Twitter are probably about the least used form of sharing I use. Yet, DM is first of the app options and the individual shares are all Twitter accounts. If it is going to propogate a handful of contacts of some form, I'd think it should grab people I interact with on a rgeular basis.

I get the same Twitter DM and SMS ones first on the list sometimes when I never use them. The odd time I'll get my usual hangout/whatsapp/etc ones but it seems completely random.

Definitely not random for me, it picks out what apps I've been using recently. It's only annoyance is it doesn't separate FB messenger contacts but otherwise it works as intended.

I always wonder why the apps that I usually share though are not on the first page of apps. I have to swipe to the second page every time.

Now I see what you mean, and like it has been mentioned here, it's strange as in my case the top of the list has always been the most used apps and people I interact with.

Thanks for the replies, guys. It's good to know that it does as I would expect it to for some of you. Now I just wonder why it isn't for me and others.

Interesting. I just opened an image file, went to Share it, and briefly it displayed what I assume were more common contacts (my wife was the only one I saw it was so fast), then it changed to the same look as my prior screenshot.

My Verizon s7 worked correctly for two days and now is a mess. I usually use for twitter or emails, but once I used to text message it lost the general twitter account icon and only contains some twitter personal message icons. Twitter does work, just not through SHARE VIA.
Anyone know of a fix?
