Hi EcOz85,
Not sure about the timing issue you have, but look really close at the camera lens and see if there is a thin piece of plastic covering it... it's really hard to see. My S5 still had it on the lens when I first received it and I used a piece of tape to stick on the plastic and pull it off. My device takes a picture in about .5 seconds after hitting the shutter (camera button) even in a darkened room.... it is set to "Auto" mode, 2.4M, picture stabilization off... when I just tried it with the stabilization on the picture took slightly longer to take, but it was only like 1 sec at the most.

Thank you for your reply. Turns out it was the image stabilization and my Sd card that was causing the issue. After I switched back to device storage it was better. A word of advice you can save single shot images on your SD card but not any of the other various scenes. Thank you again.

Alright, decided to take a photo to compare my previous phone, rezound (left) and my newly acquired S5 (right). I came from a crappy camera from a Droid 4 to Rezound and the latter is definitely a huge upgrade, camera wise.

Is it only me that I find the Rezound pic more detailed? Rezound pic is on 8m vs S5s 16m. Both were shot on 400 iso, auto white balance, auto, and non-hdr. For some reason though, Rezound pic came out yellowish. Thoughts?

Not as spectacular as the photos I've seen here...Just a funny accidental photo. The dog couldn't stand not being in the picture and we hit a bump which made me touch the shutter button. LOL:D

Some photos I've been able to get out of my Galaxy s5 not bad but I know it can do better.
