Okay, here is some pictures I shot of a ranch house about a 1/2 mile away.

I don't understand cropping on this phone, none of the pics I have or take can be cropped where the entire or most of the subject of what I take is captured. I wanted to upload this to instagram but I want the entire dish...not part of it, and this is as big as I can get it. Ive tried pulling the corners, pinching them tapping etc. View attachment 115794

Just take a screen shot of the photo and it will work

The quality of the camera itself is quite impressive, unfortunately android limits its potential terribly. Samsung has a great camera, basic manual settings and lots of semi useless stuff or stuff producing not so great results (like that focus which is a joke - sometimes blurring is done so badly it even blurs the object targeted, not to mention it works rarely and is slow).
I just switched from Lumia820 which is 2 year old tech phone and it has among other MANUAL SHUTTER SPEED and MANUAL FOCUS. Those two features added with s5's camera would make it a killer camera.
