Back at the casino.

The depth of color on the S5 is awesome. Totally untouched.

Anyone have any experience with apps like Photoshop Express or other photo editing software. I've been playing with Photoshop Express but willing to experiment with others.

I use Snapseed for the majority of my photo editing (about 85%). Depending on what the situation calls for, I also use Pixlr Express, or if I want to add a text bubble or something, I use PicSay Pro.

Here's a quick one. No editing (other than cropping). Taken using selective focus.

I was at Mayhem the day before! They rocked it at Noblesville!

Awesome! I hadn't heard of them before yesterday. I'm hooked now though. I bought one of their shirts before the show thinking I might like them and now I'm buying their albums lol.

As far as I know Digital Image Stabilization does nothing more than pumping up the ISO which leads to faster shutter speed and less possibility for blur. The tradeoff is that higher ISO will result in higher noise especially in low light photos and darker areas.

The Night mode (as far as I read about the one on S4) takes several pics in quick succession and uses them to average out the noise in low light pics (because the noise is random and will be different on different pics).

I've been using the stock camera. One of the best I have seen. I've also been playing around with others and they too are great. If you like to manually do things take a look at FV-5 in the Playstore. Either the free one or the one you pay for are terrific. I came from the old film based camera days and my Nikon F3 was the love of my life. Experiment for yourself and see.
