Got the Ultra today and took a few quick shots just to try it out. I am really liking it. Some shots of Buddy at the tennis court. Then a couple zoom sets in other posts.

Post update.Sounds good. Was this out of the box or after update?
A few night pictures of my barn project. I call it a project, because it's going on 2 years now. With injuries and unforseen costs it's been tough to get it finished. Just need to get the electrical done so I can get my compressor and hoist set up then finish some trim work. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it when it's finally done.![]()

borgie, those are some great examples! Can you advise at what zoom level do you think the pic stays clear?
Good stuff overall. I hope to have some fun with it tomorrow. I will be at our training center which overlooks the East River across from Manhattan. If I open then in Windows photo viewer and view them as actual size, i'd say the 10X is still really good although not perfect. The 30X looks really good smaller size, not as great actual size but still OK. The 100x is what it is. As I said, they were taken in auto mode. I'm sure with some pro settings it might be better. I also have not tried 108MP either. I will play around with that eventually. Supposedly thats better for cropping in.
I got it because of the 10X optical zoom (or optical hybrid if you will) and I am very happy with it. The 30X being decent is an added bonus. I had seen examples of the 100X before I bought so that was not a selling point for me.

I'm not even close to a photographer. Half the stuff people complain about i can't even tell the difference. Probably doesn't help that I'm partially color blind. I don't take many motion shots so that part doesn't bother me much.
Maybe it's just that I don't go looking for things to hate about my new phones. I just enjoy the newness. There's enough stuff in this world to complain about. I choose to leave my beloved phones out of it.
The 100x zoom looks pretty good on that one.
I thought so. Especially without a tripod. 100x is hard to shoot freehand.
Are any of those pics 108MP? I knw you have to toggle back and forth from using 100x zoom - and 108MP
