I've tried to set up my main screen in a similar fashion but for me it just feels too cluttered. I just like having a clean home screen with a dock of apps across the bottom and the At A Glance widget at the top. Then I have other screens full of widgets and apps that I can swipe left or right to get to. Just the way it works best for me. But I've always felt that is the beauty of Android, it is so easy to make it your own
