Honestly, rocking stock right now. My fiancee and our baby as wallpaper, though he's a little bigger now!

Made a change to action launcher 3. I miss some of novas features, but action launcher has some other great features. Love the hideaway widget dashboard thingy. Biggest issue is custom icons aren't working (wanted to use the huawei logo for my system manager app instead of the cog from my icon pack...)

Using materialistik icon pack, ios mix emui theme from venom 007 (for the sweet nav bar), 1 weather, minimalistic text clock, and better dash clock widget.

Very nice! I have to say, I love your screens that you have shared. I love how this one has all of the colors in harmony.

I'm gonna post my latest setup as well since BotanicalStig and I are using the same wallpaper. haha

BTW BotanicalStig, I had some issues when I was using Action Launcher on my phone, so just wanted to mention it in case you start to see any weirdness on your own phone. I gave up on AL and went back to Nova.

Tip: if you like that "side drawer" option that AL has, you can get an app called Swiftly Switch from the Play Store that does the same thing. I'm running it on my own phone because I was used to the similar feature from the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Very nice! I like how minimal it is.

Thanks libra. I really love how customizable emui is. I've never had a phone that could use custom nav bars, custom app themes, dark themes, custom colors etc right out of the box. I've never really played with anything beyond the launcher before, emui has a lot of possibilities.

Ranphi, what didn't you like about action launcher? So far the only issue I've had is that you can't replace individual icons with images. Everything else has worked smoothly, required a lot of tweaking though. I turned off the left side app drawer, I didn't find it particularly useful. The other drawer where you can pin apps and widgets is pretty cool though. I don't know how I feel about the "quickcuts“ feature. It could be a good feature it just seems poorly implemented.

Few things. You can change individual icons by long pressing them, swiping up when the pop-up comes and then selecting the file you want to use.

As for quick cuts that will be more useful if and when developers add the feature to their app. The launcher doesn't automatically do it unfortunately.

Some great screens here. I won't bore you with mine (yet). I like to keep things as simple and clean as possible.

It wasn't that I didn't like Action Launcher, it was just too buggy on my phone for me to keep using it. It had repeated instances where I'd go to set the wallpaper of my desktop and it would have problems doing that. Also, when I'd swipe down on my screen to pull down the notification menu, it would fail to work properly. So I gave up on it and went back to Nova.

And I wasn't referring to the App Drawer on the left side of the screen in Action Launcher when I was talking about the "Swiftly Switch" app. Swiftly Switch is pretty much the same thing as the "Quickpage" in Action Launcher, which is what I thought you were referring to when you mentioned liking "the hideaway widget dashboard thingy". Sorry if I misunderstood you. :)

I usually keep everything on the 2nd screen on my devices and the end result is that they all look pretty much the same even if I am on iOS

That is very clever!

Yeah, took me a couple of years and saving screen shots of my apps and then I got smarter. Leave the home screen stock from the manufacturer, be it Nexus, Honor 8 or iOS and the second screen for my apps.

The only device where I don't have to worry about this setup is of course my Lumia...

Ok, is it just me, or do we seem to have a surprising number of WP transplants using the Honor 8?
