Share Your Watchface (Pics)

You had me at "live wallpaper". Care to share your tricks? I'm also curious about your "Apphole" inspired on that first screenshot. I just noticed your other reply, advising that the apphole was a mocking variant to Apphole via wearfaces Although, I'm still interested on the animated wallpaper one...

Here is the link. The dev is working to fix w Moto as the mins get cut off since originally designed for square watch.

Created this from scratch in AI. I thought I'd try something different since I am no artist and "regular" watches are already available for download.
I don't know why so much energy is spent of copying the existing watches when artists can go crazy with GUI.

That's a great looking watch face man! Do you have it available for download?

Also - what are you using to create your own watch faces? I'd like to take a shot at it as well.

Just finished making this one of Harley Quinn...can't decide whether to keep the Joker photo in there.

I love this one!
I was always a Harley Quinn fan

Thanks! It's the current one on my watch now, made it tonight.

What do you think, keep the Joker in, or take him out? Can't decide if it looks good or detracts from the time text.

I'd take it out, it would have looked better if it was more blended in the red, but now it just looks like a random pic there...im sure u can put battery percentage there or something

take joker out. Otherwise it looks awesome and I have no interest in the joker or harley quinn

It's one of the "featured" watch faces in Facer, with minor tweaks to font face/size.position, but it's a nice face. Any way to get more "featured" faces in Facer, or do I just have to create my own? The band is the black Pebble Steel from Best Buy for $19 (thank God I didn't have to wait for Moto's $90 version).

LOL, I actually deleted it :( I wasn't satisfied and thought it looks amateur. I can easily recreate it though because I still have the sources. I use Adobe Illustrator to create graphics and then Adobe PS to expand the canvas for watch hands (they need a transparent background to stretch them).
Clock face is super easy in AI:

I will recreate that one and will export it via Facer some time today on tomorrow.
This is what I made last night based on a face I found here
Faces by skielbasa : Facer

I basically cleaned it up to make it looks better IMO

The Facer app added support for Weather (temp and humidity) so that's what you see on the bottom

I have the main faces here if anyone wants to grab them

It's hard to make the bottom look good with so many markings on the rim. That's why minimalist designs look the best IMO.

And that's the seconds "hand"... you can shorten it by cutting off the transparent buffer in any photoshop that supports transparency:

This one is a rotating seconds ring

If I'm not mistaken, AI= adobe Illustrator and PS = photoshop. What program are you using to insert those images into to make it a usable watchface? Like how do you get the watch to show date and time in a diff text and size.

Could you explain how to use Facer to import downloaded watchfaces?

You unzip the downloaded folder (make sure all files are in a folder when you unzip). Then move this unzipped folder to SDcard\Facer folder. Kill the Facer app and start it again. You should see your new watch option in this app

Made this one today. Will improve the handles because they don't stand out much. The green LED is the seconds hand.
