shared outlook calendar won't appear on Huawei 20 Pro

[Android Central Question]

I've got a hotmail/outlook account which has my calendar entries. I've created the account on my Huawei 20 Pro and that's fine for both my email and all my calendar entries. My wife also has an outlook calendar and we have shared each others calendars. But I can't see her entries on my phone. Can see them on other devices.
I've tried deleting that calendar and asking her to share it again and deleting the Exchange account from my phone and then adding both again - no difference.
Anyone got any other ideas?
Worked fine on my old Samsung S6 although that had some issues at the start but once up generally fine.

Sounds like you are using the oem Huawei calendar app? If so it is very basic and doesn't have a lot of settings/options (I think they are trying to mimic Apple by just providing the basics). I had the same issue with my Internet Calendars. Once I added them to my outlook account through OWA they appeared in the OEM calendar app and can be toggled on/off.

Thanks. Yes, using the Calendar app that came on phone. Would you suggest a different one? I think I did add (and re-add) my wife's outlook shared Outlook calendar using the Web client version (I think that's OWA?) of Outlook/Hotmail if that's what you meant?
I think it's the Shared calendar being linked to my own calendar that's the issue rather than trying to add a new calendar or account to the phone and/or calendar app.

Nine is an excellent email client and will sync all of your calendars better than the OEM calendar app. But it's not as clean looking as the OEM app.

In outlook.com you have to add the shared calendar via Discover Calendars at the bottom of the left hand pane but I don't think the free version has an option to discover shared calendars from people. It's how I got internet calendars to show up in the OEM calendar app.
