Sharing contacts and call history with my car Bluetooth

I paired my S4 with my car stereo and can make + receive calls but my 'phone will not share my contacts and call history with my car so I can take calls hands free but need to use my 'phone to make a call so need to stop.
I get the following request on my 'phone screen:

KCA-BT200 would like to access your contacts and call history.
Give access to KCA-BT200?

Cancel OK

When I hit OK the message disappears then comes back after a few seconds.

HELP!

Sounds like the S4 is not replying to the contacts request. You need to select device OK in S4..
You can select the radio + under the Bluetooth heading. Then select media audio and/or input device.

Hi Ray, thanks and sorry for delayed reply. Unfortunately your advice didn't work as it seems my car Bluetooth device is not compatible with my S4!
