Sharing your Nexus...

I let people use it, but it makes me cringe. I've been this way with any phone not just my iPhone or my Nexus when I had it. For one, it has personal information on it, so I only let people use it to make a call and I do that supervised. People don't need to be going through my personal information. I'm an attorney and I have some emails in there relating to cases and clients, and it would be a breach of their confidentiality if I let people freely go through everything. If there's something on my phone that I want to show them, I'll do it myself.

I have a 9 year old stepdaughter, and she has an iPod and a Vizio tablet that she can use for fun, so she doesn't have to use mine or my wife's phones. She barely takes care of anything (iPod has two GIANT scratches on it), so I'd prefer not letting her toss around my $600+ cell phone, especially when I can't supervise. Plus you have to put a gun to her head to get her to wash her hands... :p

At first I did let people hold it for a short time under my watchful eye.One person held it up to their old phone comparing the size .I didnt say anything but thought get your beat up phone away from mine .
But lately I havent allowed anyone to touch it ha .Itz mine :p keep your paws off

Don't even think about asking . . . and I try not to let other people see it.

Same. I've only let my friend who had an iPhone touch it. I don't even let my wife touch it as she always is dropping her DX2.

smart app protector free will let you password protect any app on your phone. i use it so no one can go through my texts and pictures. i used to be on high alert when my phone was in some one elses hands but with that app they cant get to anything i dont want them to.

If anyone even tries to touch my GNex they will die a horrible death.

That's great...

Personally I don't get anyone asking to use my phone at all. I'd feel hesitant to just hand it off to the unsavvy tech person as they don't understand how an awesome device will make me cry if they drop it. Lol :D

My work email requires pin number protection for mobile Exchange access via activesync security policies. So I use Touchdown for my work stuff and nobody can access the email, calendar, or contacts, even if I don't password protect the rest of my phone.
