Shazam access denied

I just installed Shazam on an Evo. After opening I get a link to the legal disclaimers and a button to setup. When I click setup I get "Access Denied !D!" and it closes. I tried uninstall and redownload and get the same thing.

Anyone seen this or know why?

I am having the exact same issue "Alert Access Denied [D]" on Shazam.. Do you have the new "unofficial" 2.2 update?

No, I thought the same thing and hoping that will fix the problem. But waiting to install 2.2 until I read a bit more and am sure it is problem free. Overall problems could be much worse than just Shazam not working.

I'm a former Shazam user who has switched to SoundHound. I like it a lot better....plus it's free for unlimited use.

I was having this problem as well after upgrading to the new version. I rebooted the phone and it installed without the error. I am also using a task killer program, maybe that had something to do with it not installing.
