Got mine today, slight gap on upper right corner along top and left side just enough to fit in a sheet of paper. it's slightly springy, thinking sealant.

Going to return it? With the huge battery and small form factor of the pixel 5, if it's already loose i wonder if it won't get worse if the battery expands.

I got mine today and has no gaps from what I can tell. I even looked in daylight and it seems pretty tight and I can't feel any give on any corner.

I got mine through Google under Fi. I may return it, mulling it over as I think my Pixel 4 has three back flex issue that causes charging issues. After the 4 is sorted out I'll circle back on getting the 5 warrantied.

Keep us posted on what you decide! That is unfortunate! :(

And yet again FedEx didn't deliver my phone even with a signed door tag as well as a printed and signed letter from FedEx also on the door. I work tomorrow and if they don't deliver it tomorrow it's automatically being sent back to Google. I'm so pissed right now.

Hmm. My FedEx driver said due to Covid, signature wasn't required

Anybody know if a signature is required by Amazon? My 1st phone purchase from Amazon.

Can you choose to change delivery to a FedEx location and pick it up?

Depends on the driver. My last phone required "someone to be present at time of delivery." But it arrived earlier than I excepted and I wasn't home. Yet the driver left it anyway. Maybe signature required policy is more strict.

Thanks - since tomorrow is Saturday - since I'm retired - I'll be home all day "Pixel Waiting" - good thing Dominoes delivers.

Mine came from Google yesterday by Fedex so I put a mask on to answer my door thinking I'd have to sign but he just handed it to me. No signature.

I think if you track the package on the FedEx site, it makes a reference to Covid-19 as far as signature required. This was true for the last phone I got via FedEx.

I would have done that yesterday but the person at FedEx guaranteed it would be delivered if I left a signature.
Bummer! I digitally signed my son's iPhone a couple of weeks ago and they just dropped it on the porch. I signed it through my FedEx account.

Mine was just delivered and I was lucky someone there was able to sign for it. I never know when they are going to show up - could be 9am or 6pm.

On a side note, those that have missed their deliveries - you might want to call your closest hub and see if they can hold it or re-deliver today. Heck, I've even met the truck on their route to get stuff. Who wants to wait the weekend?

Where is that gap supposed to be? I don't see any. Tho it may be covered up by the case.

Apparently if sent from Google, signature required. Not required if from Verizon.

I think it depends maybe on how safe your house is, mine came from Google and they just left it. They didn't even bother to leave it by the door. They never knocked, I knew it came when my security camera's notified me, by the time I walked out he had driven away.

I must be getting old, I am more excited about the new Cobra 3/4 wood arriving tomorrow then this phone...??????
