EvoTastic:
Was that an instore preorder or online?
So, got my phone yesterday.... Getting something else from Sprint today?!?
Does anyone that was getting another mystery box know what it was?
According to ISN: ".. if you’re wondering what that 2nd package is that you’re receiving – it’s a free Gel Case for your new HTC EVO 4G LTE! Sprint’s way to say ‘sorry for the delay’!"
Wow. That thing is huge compared to poor old EVO 4G. At least it's a whole lot lighter and thinner I guess.
Ups showed up at my house today too. I didn't know there was a second package. Got a light blue gel case and an apology letter from Sprint! Although I may have to get a new phone. This one keeps disconnecting from 3g and loosing a WiFi signal. My wife's Sprint GS2 and my roomates Sprint iPhone work just fine. I'm going to take it to a Sprint store so they can check it.

Three's Company?!?
Agreed. Although after nearly two years, it better be...First the phone is amazing coming from an OG EVO 4g
Trust me, you weren't the only one, and most likely not the first. There were already others in this thread who said they had to call CSR twice to get their phones activated. I also had to call in, but luckily only once, and it was mostly painless. She did ask me to turn my phone off and remove the battery... I was like, "uh, it's got a non-removable battery..."evallee said:I had to call in to activate, nothing worked until they did it over the phone. the CS rep said I seemed to be the first to have an issue, figures.
