I'm planning to buy a new phone on X-Mas, and i really like the G Flex 2, but is it worth it to give money for it or not ?

Should be around 199 xmas. Buy it!
The pro's outwheight the con's (display in direct sunlight, not so loud audio) by far.

Other than that it's a very fast phone and very durable. And a perfect TV remote, too. Doesn't get warmer than any other phone running 5.1.1 or 6.0.

(P)-OLCD has its it's advantages. Flexible, viewing angle, very nice blacks.

It's display is very scrach resitant, too.You won't need any cases for this phone. Even sitting on it does nothing to this phone.

I'm stunned that android central doesn't give this phone a second look at todays bargain prizes, running android 5.1.1.

I'll buy from Germany for 250€, so i think the price is good for its specs...btw when you say, it's not so loud... can I hear at least the incoming calls and how loud is the sound when you have the headphones plugged in ? I Do you know if it's gonna get android 6? Hope the the P-OLED is good and the screen is tough, cuz I broke the screen of my G2, so o don't want to deal with it again...(I know it's just luck). What about the camera? Is it good or just decent? What about the battery life, is it good or you charge the phone every night ? Any other comment about the device will be helpfull Thanks

Any help?

Camera is good. Would say better than my 10MP Nokia Lumia 830 Pureview. VIdeos are excellent.
Battery , yes i charge every night.
Turbocharge. 2.0 is fast, about 60% in 40mins.

If you can get it for around 250 it's good value for money.

Bought mine at www.notebooksbilliger.de

It's a very solid beast , very hard to brake it. You have to throw it against a wall to brake it, it seems.

Buy it , curved screen is definitely nice. It won't get "hot" running 5.1.1, not warmer than any other phone.

It's good value for money and faster than Nexus 6 and has better camera.

Want OLCD curved screen TV also from LG. But it's 1899€, have to wait some months hehe when 799€ i buy.

If you own an LG TV , it's dancing perfectly together. Miracast very good. Better than any device i owned before. It just works :)

Hope it has a really nice camera, btw how much warranty the shop gave you (1 or 2 years) ? Do you know how many years of warranty I'll get if I buy from Amazon...?

I just purchased this for $250 after being a Windows phone user for 4 years. It's a great phone... I have nothing bad to say about it yet... except it'd be nice if it had a dedicated camera button. I don't understand why this phone isn't popular

Was also a WP User (Nokia 830) for a year or so.

Things i miss is the dedicated camera Button and the perfectly readable screen in direct sunlight, automatic dimming works better. And the audio output is little bit louder.

(You know you can quick access the Camera with holding the volume button down for 2 seconds?)

I just love the form factor of the Flex 2, even one handed use is possible and i have small hands.

The advantage of not having any buttons around the phone: None can mis-clicked while browsing the web in landscape mode.

If the Flex 2 successor has the Snapdragon 820 and IR-Blaster again I'll definatly buy it.

Until then i'm perfectly fine with my Snapdragon 810 powered beast :)

LG is giving 2 Years Garantie, bought my phone in germany. I think Amazon is the same.

2 Years Gewährleistung is by law, Garantie (warranty) up to the the company.
2 Years is pretty good, some give 1year or just 6 months.

I just saw it's 14 Euro more now - from 255 to 269

AC stated that the Flex 2 most likely will get 6.0

Would be a shame for a 2015 LG flagship if it does not get any update anymore :)

You can always update yourself to 6.0 if you are little bit tech savvy, but i would wait little bit before going that route (link is posted in this forum with a step by step route)
