Should I buy Xperia Z1? Touch and WiFi issues solved?

I have a good deal on Xperia Z1. But, I've seen many people complaining on talk.sonymobile.com and xda that it very weak WiFi signal and touch screen doesn't register touches sometimes. Are those issues gone now? As I don't want to get disappointed. I'm looking at Z1 compact as well but it has its own bleeding flash issue. Help me out.

I have none of the problems you mentioned. the only thing that comes to mind is, that sometimes the phone doesn't connect to a known wifi signal. have to do it manually then.
