Should I do a hard reset?

I am having a few issues with my phone and VZW wants me to do a hard reset.

Here are my issues...

Phone reboots at random times and in rendom locations.

MMS do not download or upload properly...sometimes they send/receive instantly...often they are stuck in sending/downloading mode.

Connectivity...I am often unable to make a call because I am not connected to a network even though I am in downtown Seattle! Data connections have the same issue.

I know these are issues others are having...not sure if anyone is having all of these issues like me.

Any thoughts?

I would turn the phone off then remove the battery leave it out for at least 5 minutes then put back in and turn on.
This may fix it if not then do the reset.
