Should I engrave on Deep Blue Sea back?

I want to order a moto x pure, and I liked the color "deep blue sea"
and I like also to engrave my name on it
I'm not sure how it will look !
will it be seen easily ? or it will look hideous ?

any suggestions ?

My Moto X Pure Edition 2015 back is also Deep Sea Blue, with engraving. It's not easy to see or read it from a distance, but you definitely see it if you get closer. It's kinda stealth engraving on this back color, as I intended it to be when designed it in Moto Maker, I think it's cool and I really like.

I thought about engraving the back, but decided not to. It could be a turnoff when you decide to sell it later. So I left it off. Remember, you can't remove the back nor the engraving.

I regret getting engraving on mine. I have the raspberry color back and I don't like how the engraving looks. At least it's small, but if I had it to do over I would leave it off.

I have a deep blue sea back and my engraving is barely legible unlike the engraving I had on my purple 2014 Moto X and on my blue 2013 Moto X.

gredo, our second MXPE is in color Royal Blue, and it's engraving is very clear and noticeable, so you might want to consider that color instead..

The colors are very different. I wish Royal blue wasn't as bright. I personally got Deep Sea Blue and champagne accents. No engraving. Looks great as is

It looks more like ink than engraving. It is sort of a purple color on the pink and it just doesn't look high quality. Every other thing about the MXPE is very much quality, so it's kind of out of place.

In my opinion the engraving is in very good quality. Seems like it was done by Lazer or something that was used scorch the back.

My thinking is that if you plan on re-selling your device later, don't get it engraved. If not, put whatever you want on it.

Same here. I've had my name engraved on all of my Moto X's but the engraving is quite faint on my PE with the dark blue back, unlike my previous X's. Others here have clearly had better quality engraving on theirs, however, so if you want it, I say go for it.

Well, you all know my real name. However, I chose not to engrave my royal blue device, since I might want to sell it at some point.
