So Should I get a EVO 4g :)
my BB8530 is junk and need to replace it
Company pays for Sprint and covers the phone too
So is it still a good phone? only have to do a 1 year on it (also will have 30days to like or dislike it)

So I am stuck on Sprint with no real eta on the new phones just hear Summer

Thank you all for any input

The Evo is still the best thing going. Is solid and has good UI. Not to mention has excellent development.

yea i would deff get the evo.....i would check out evo 3d depending when your upgrading since its not coming out till summer

Either the EVO or the EVO 3d (coming out this Summer), whichever one you choose - you can't lose.

I have a EVO on order and I have 30 days to try it out or send it back
has to be better then the BB

I've run the full gambit. Had a WinMobile6 phone, a Samsung Instinct, a BB Curve and a Palm PRE all before moving to the EVO. There is no comparison in my book. The HW of the EVO combined with the Android OS is unbeatable, IMHO.

i had all those devices too. evo is the best.

BUT. times have changed since winmo 6. who's to say that winmo phones these days aren't as good?

I got a family plan because I thought I was going to miss my blackberry (especially BBM). I came from the VZW blackberry storm. I now have the EVO and the blackberry curve. The curve stays at home but the EVO goes everywhere I go

so how you liking the internet speeds.

i tried the blackberry storm. internet was slow. i tether storm to my pc. and my 5 year old sprint phone ran circles around the 3G storm.

@snowwy66 Thats because any data on a blackberry has to run thru the NOC (Network Operatoins Center) for blackberry. Data on any BB is always slow because of this. It has gotten faster over the years but its not a direct link to the internet like other devices.

To the OP, i too have had a large variety of devices and for me the EVO is a good choise, but make sure your ok with the on screen keyboard. SOME peoople still prefer a good old fashion hardware keyboard. I carry an EVO / EPIC for personal use and work provides me with a BB. I find my self still going to my BB when i have to type a lot.

But thats just me. :)

I would def get an EVO. I have never had a problem with it and it runs very smooth and fast, stock w a Zeam Launcher. If you need a physical keyboard, and slightly smaller screen landscape, the Evo Shift is awesome. My wife has one and it is QUICK. The screen actually looks a bit more vibrant than my EVO 4G. Although it has a slightly slower processor, it is still very fast and does a few things faster than my original EVO 4G. I don't think you can lose with an EVO. :)

if you still have blackberry then switch to anything, doesn't even have to be the evo ( which i recommend btw )

it's 2011, Touchpads and Track balls are so 1500's. Get that touchscreen with endless customization possibilities and Enjoy yourself my friend. The force will be with you
