Should I get rid of Google Drive in favor of Dropbox?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but since Dropbox and Google Drive offer Play Store apps I'll write it here.

I recently bought a Galaxy Note 4 and therefor I was able to claim 48GB of additional Dropbox space for free. The reason I stayed away from Dropbox in the past was the fact that it's only offering 2GB of free space which isn't enough for me. That's why I've been using Google Drive for a while now which offers 15GB.

Now I'm using both services, but I'm not really interested in having two copies of my entire cloud storage on my laptop SSD and organizing both, so I'm wondering if I should get rid of Google Drive?

You don't have to choose. Why wouldn't you grab all the free storage you can get? Sign up for OneDrive and get another 30 GB! You don't have to use it all and you certainly don't need to all or none with a single service. You can hold some in reserve, or use them all while assigning each a purpose, like photos versus everything else, or business & personal.

My entire cloud storage is only 4.18GB in size. I don't need to sign up for multiple services just to get more space for being able to split my storage between them.

The way technology moves, 4 GB will turn into 40 faster than you think. I personally also prefer to keep photos separate from business and other serious files.
Between the two, it doesn't matter - pick the one you like better. Drive will integrate a bit better into your phone because it's Android & Google, but Dropbox is very well done and they just announced integration with MS Office.

I actually plan to use Microsoft Office when it will be available for Android, as far as I know it isn't compatible with Google Drive?

I think MS Office is available now for free. I haven't tried it with Drive, which does work with most other leading office type apps - you just need to test it and see. My biggest problem with the Google apps like Sheets and Docs is that they cannot open a password protected file. So I use Drive with WPS Office.

Yes, for iOS. I'm waiting for the Android apps of World, Excel and PowerPoint that are compatible with my phone.

At least for the iOS versions you can only open and save from/to OneDrive and Dropbox.

I have been using WPS. It works fine with Drive. I also use it on my PC because it is free - it has been an excellent MS Office substitute.

That's the same app that is available for years now. I'm talking about the new standalone apps of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Besides Office Mobile isn't even compatible with the Note 4.
