Should I get the Galaxy S4 or the Galaxy S5?

If you want USB3, fingerprint scanner, and water/dust resistant phone than S5 but if not than S4

I agree. But my geek side wants to get the GS5.
At the end, money talks, and I more then likely will keep my GS4 until next year.

Hey guys I am up for a upgrade next month. I currently have a iphone but going back to android. I am trying to decide between the galaxy s4 and galaxy s5. Can somebody tell me who will be the first ones to carry the new s5. I have verizon. I talked to them and they said just because they are releasing it in the first quarter doesn't mean they will have it available then. Thanks for the help guys

I would wait for the note 4

They do have it, unlike Verizon you should be able to get it in the store. I am actually looking at doing the AT&T Next 12 option since I don't mind just handing in my old phone and getting a new one and rolling on. Right now AT&T isn't dealing on the GS4 which means it will be another 3-4 weeks before they start to. Tough to decide.

Im on same boat. Thinking dumping my iphone but cant decide on S5 or cheap S4...the S5 back looks very ummm purselike.

Do all S4 owners, I was readings has problems with memory carda corruption?

Yeah, common issue with certain brands of cards. I've had no issues with my Class 4 SanDisk card.

You can't really predict which ones will or will not work. Best thing to do is format the card in the phone...

It all depends on your needs. If you really got to have the newest of them, I know I do, go with the S5.
You also need to consider the money you'll spend, if money is no concern, S5.

Look, we all want the newest devices and feel bad if we don't get them.

But make a list of your needs and another list with pros and cons of the S4 and S5. Than decide.

No, not all. I know many people with GS4s, including me, that never have had any problems with SD cards.

I've used SanDisk, Kingston and PNY, ranging from 8GB to 32GB.

I've been using a 64 GB SanDisk since the day the phone was released on Verizon. I just put the card in straight from the package and didn't do any special formatting. I had issues with it not mounting during boot at first, but that was fixed in a firmware update last summer. I haven't had a single issue since. I save all my photos on it and listen to music on in most days of the week. Even if you find hundreds of people who have had issue, remember that they've sold something like 40 million phones.

That's true!
Yea I forgot to mention that all the SD cards I've used with this phone were straight from the package too.
