Should i get the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Samsung Galaxy S6

Hello,
First of all i obsiviously know that the S6 has more features, just read my question

Im getting a new phone soon and i was going for the S6 until i saw it is not waterproof
I don't know what to do, is it worth loosing the waterproof feature?, also camera is really important for me and it is one of the BIG reasons im getting a new phone, and the waterproof is also a big reason so yeah.
So whats the difference between the S6 Camera and S5 Camera

There's a huge difference between the S5 and S6 (and S7) cameras. Much better low-light recording as you go up in the model numbers.

I have an AT&T Samsung S5 and I am seriously looking at a Nexus 6P.

One thing you don't want is a "carrier" phone from AT&T or Verizon. Then you will be 8-12 months behind on software updates -- if they decide to update your phone at all.

I know it's neither of your options but doesn't the S7 solve all your problems? Better specs AND waterproof! Also, better camera than both S5 and S6. You don't mention any budget restriction, so go for it if you can - I think most of the current reviews will concur!

Yeah the S7 does solve all of my problems but... it costs too much my budget is 450 so yeah i can't really get that

What no one has mentioned is also the fact the S5 can take a Micro SD Card, and has a removable battery, it also doesn't have the new CRAPPY antenna tech that the S6 has due to the glass back.

In all honesty, I would just save up a little longer for the S7 (or check Swappa, prices right now are around $650). The S5 is still a very capable phone but considering Samsung's history, there will be very little to no OS support for the phone going forward as well as the S5 waterproofing is very dependent on if the back is completely secured as well as the charging port flap.

Hmmm i don't know
I want a waterproof badly thats the issue
Im thinking of getting the S5 cause of waterproof
I don't know tho i want the S6 too because the Camera can capture true 720p120fps footage
I don't care a bit about the proccesors and all that stuff
I only want a phone just to watch videos, have a nice camera and waterproof these are the only things i ask for
Sooo i think its more worth going for the S5 really.

if you're ok with the possibility that the S5 wont be supported going forward, then go for it...but like goober said id suggest saving up for the S7 instead, mainly because it solves your problems and will be supported for the next 2-3 years.

I have both. The s6 is my daily driver and my s5 is a backup phone (my previous daily driver). If the cameras were equal, I would still be using my s5.
Other than the camera and the fingerprint scanner, it's not a huge leap forward functionally.

Well im going for the S5
Because it has a 1080p display which is good to watch movies and all that
a decent camera
Waterproof which is an important part for me
So this phone is a HUGE upgrade for me since i have a crappy LG Android with a 720p camera and its not even a true 720p actually
So yeah i think its going to be worth it
I found it on amazon for 300£
