Is the S6 OK to leave phone plugged in even after full charge, for even long durations. For example overnight?

I couldn't find a thread in s6 forums so I want to make sure the responses would apply to s6. Just to be safe

Thanks

I find that my phone doesn't fully charge properly unless I leave it on the charger for at least half an hour after my phone says it has reached 100%. I don't understand why but for some reason if I take the phone off the charger straight away upon it reaching 100 I lose battery very quickly between 100-90 whereas if I leave it on for an extra half hour after reaching 100% it discharges as normal. If someone could explain this to me I would appreciate it.

As for leaving it on the charge overnight I'm not sure about

I'm thinking that quick charge isn't what it's cracked up to be. I also found that leaving it longer on the changer will give me better battery life throughout the day. Don't know what makes charging a 2000+ MA battery in 2 hours "quick charge". I was able to get a 50% charge on my G4 in 40 mins with a regular charger. I think the battery levels might be doctored.

Charges to 100% in 1h20 for me.

Same here but if you need to leave it on the charger an extra half hour of so to get it to drain slower, then that will push it up to 2 hours. I have a regular charger from my old moto x, gonna see what the difference is in charge time.

I dont find any difference in drain rates even when I leave it for an extra half hour. I use a regular charger sometimes and it charges in around 2h15m. Over USB on my laptop it takes 5 hours to charge fully.

OEM rapid chargers will stop charging when the battery is fully charged. To see what I mean just look at the battery icon in the top notification panel. When actively charging there is a little lighting bolt symbol embedded within the icon. Once it's charged the phone will make a little sound and the lighting bolt symbol will be gone. At this point no power is coming from the charger to the phone. You can safely leave it plugged in for months or forever if you like.

It is no problem. You will probably have upgraded to another device before you notice any issues.
