Should I protect the camera?

After using the phone for one year, I find that the glass of the camera has some scatches which makes image blur. Should I buy a cover to avoid the contact between the camera and other object?

If the lens is already scratched and images are blurry then buying a case won't resolve this issue. If you do buy a case it will prevent it from getting scratched further though
